The Challenge
How do you take a fitness brand rooted in the outdoors and seamlessly introduce an indoor programme, all while improving user experience and boosting sign-ups?
Their existing website didn’t reflect the evolution of the brand. Content felt disjointed, the tone lacked energy, and mobile usability was holding back performance. That’s where I came in.
Understanding the Brand
Before jumping into Figma, I started with discovery sessions to understand the heart of Bootcamp 42, their tone, values, class structure, and business goals.
I carried out a content audit of the existing site, identifying gaps in clarity, visual inconsistency, and a lack of hierarchy that made navigation feel messy. I also analysed competitors in the fitness space to see what worked, what didn’t, and how we could differentiate B42 visually and structurally.
From Strategy to Structure
With insights in hand, I created wireframes to reimagine the site’s architecture. My focus was:
Mobile performance: Ensuring the mobile experience was as energised and smooth as the workouts themselves
Clear content hierarchy: So users could instantly compare classes and understand what Bootcamp 42 stood for
Integrated sign-up paths: Making it simple to enquire, sign up, or just learn more
Once the framework was solid, I moved into high-fidelity design using Figma, blending vibrant visuals with smart UX flow.

Results That Speak
I developed a responsive site with a clean, intuitive CMS — enabling the Bootcamp 42 team to manage content easily. We also added lead generation tools and contact flows to boost conversions, along with basic SEO to increase local visibility.
• Increased mobile engagement and time-on-site
• Clearer content flow for exploring class types
• Higher enquiry rates thanks to simplified sign-up UX
• Better SEO performance, driving more local traffic
• Easy-to-manage backend so the team could stay agile
“I can’t recommend Burkay enough! His creative mind and ability to design helped us greatly when rebranding the website. From the initial designs to the final product, everything flowed so smoothly.”
